Google closes several security holes with Chrome 129

Google has released Chrome version 129, or versions 129.0.6668.58/.59 for Windows and MacOS, as well as Linux version 129.0.6668.58. As usual, this update closes several security holes, one of which is rated as “high”. A quick installation is therefore recommended.

In addition, there are all the new features relating to certificate management, tools for administrators and various new security functions. However, AI features are not yet on board. The “Tab Compare” function is initially only being rolled out in the USA. This allows product information from several tabs to be summarized in one place using AI.

The update to version 129 can be initiated via the settings menu. You can also find Chrome 129 in the freeware library of “Swiss IT Magazine” for direct download. (sta)
